Hello there.
My name is Junta Ikeda. I’m an International Master in chess from Australia.
Through sharing my thoughts on chess, books and other (less important) things in life through writing, I want to
explore the infinite motifs within the mirrors of chess and life, and
create places where like-minded people can connect and converse.
As someone who has spent (and is still spending) a considerable part of their life on chess, I want to help people with their game and motivation, but I don’t only write about improvement—to explore the richness, depth and meaning in the game, too.
I started my Substack in February 2023, and am now writing for over 1,300 readers.
